My dog Tangi Weto looks like a caramel ball with a big mouth. He can open his mouth really wide like a hippopotamus. He’s got big teeth as well so when he opens his mouth you can see them. Tangi Weto is big like a wolf so it helps him pig hunt.
Me and Tangi Weto love playing joyfully and happily going down the hill. We both rolypoly down. I beat him but once he sees I’m at the bottom he runs down. We have a race back up and I start in front of him but he doesn’t care. When I say ‘go’ I’m in the lead for about 1 or 2 seconds but then he takes the lead and wins because he’s fast like a cheetah.
I love Tangi Weto because he’s not no ordinary dog because when I go to school he doesn’t whine and whine. Other dogs whine but Tangi Weto just knows when I go to school.
Sam
My Grandma is old and has black and white hair. She has a terrific smile. She likes the colours orange and red. She looks beautiful just like a flower.
She is smart like a scientist. I ask her hard questions about times tables. She’s always correct. “Damn you’re good”, I said.
At home my Grandma cleans. She makes chicken soup then she eats dinner then she watches a movie. After that she brushes her teeth then brushes her hair then she goes to bed. On Sunday she goes to the church and waits for the others to come and then she will get the keys and open the door. When everybody is seated then the man starts the keyboard and they will sing. But my Grandma sings the Tongan songs beautiful like a bird.
Teina
My kitten’s name is Chocky and he loves us. He has bright shiny fur and two sparkly brown eyes. He is one foot tall and he is six months old. He looks like he’s young because he’s much different and smaller than any other cat. He has a bubble stuck in his skin on his paw. It happened because my annoying brothers Tama and Kahu and Tane jammed his finger in the door. It looks like a wart like my wart.
He likes coming with us for walks. He follows us everywhere like a dog even though he is a cat. One time he followed us to the market like a cat-dog. Chocky can get really annoying when it’s dinner. He tries to eat our food when he’s been fed. Naughty cat.
After he has had a bath he’s all wet and soggy but he smells like strawberry. He feels smooth and silky when he’s dry. He’s the best cat ever.
Jayda
Dad makes me happy because of the way he smiles and spoils me with amazing things. He spoils me with theme parks and snow globes. He also taught me how to sing. And Dad spoils me with my favourite things to do like going to see dolphins and polar bears. The dolphin show was so amazing I had tears in my eyes. The funniest was when it was the seal show at Sea World. And the polar bear did tricks without anybody helping and at the end it did a huge roar. It almost made me deaf. I would love to work there.
Dad’s voice is calm when he’s happy. Sometimes his voice makes a squeaky noise when he laughs. Sometimes when he is frustrated he raises his voice. When my Dad is driving he gets a little bit frustrated because sometimes he doesn’t know where he is going.
My Dad lives in Australia. I usually talk to my Dad on the phone but I don’t get to talk to him a lot because it costs a lot of money. When I ring my Dad he sounds excited and also when I ring him in surprise he sounds amazed.
Riley
My rabbit is really cute. She looks brand new because we brush her a lot. And I pat her. She looks pretty because she is black and a bit brown like the autumn leaves.
She sounds scared at night most times when its really dark and I can hear her scratching on the cage. She sounds scared and afraid always at night and I can hear her running mad a lot of the time. But when she is happy she sounds really excited a lot and when I feed her she is calm a lot of the times.
She feels soft like the winter snow when it is melting. She is warm like the warm leaves in summer. When I pat her she feels like a warm blanket sitting in the sun for a long time.
Caleb
My Dads skin is prickly and hairy. His clothes are plain. He is wide and big and he’s tall. Theres only little tiny bits of hair on his head. His crystal blue eyes look good next to his big mouth which is below his small ears that is above his short wide nose. On top of his eyes are his tiny eyelashes that is next to his little eyebrows. My Dad sticks up for me when I am getting bullied, when people are calling me names. My Dad is super nice, we watch tv together, he helps me do stuff, he plays with me, he solves my problems, he takes care of me, he feeds me, and he stops me from fighting with my sister.
One reason why I love my Dad is because he’s nice and happy and also calm when I have done nothing wrong. I love it when my Dad lets me stay up late and watch a movie. I also love it how my Dad solves my problems. He also stops me and my sister from fighting. This why I love my Dad.
Connor
My dog Taz has brown fur with white paws and a black spot on his back (my dog is a Beagle).
Everytime when people come round Tazz barks about ten times! Tazzs barks sound like ruff rooorooroooroo!!! rooroo. Then he gets puffed out.
My dog is special to me beacase he is cute, adorable, loveabale. I also take him for walks. He loves me and I love him.
My dogs farts are very toxic and they smell like fifteen rotton eggs with 6 pieces of stuffing. His breath smells horibble like the smell of poo!!

My mum has black hair it looks like the colour of the allblacks shirt. Mum is nice and sounds nice. I like mum. She is a very good mum. Her skin looks soft. My mums skin is like a balloon.
My mum washes clothes and makes them real clean and sometimes mum cooks dinner on weekends. Mum cooks chicken on Sundays with peas, mashed poutatos, Yorkshire and stuffing. Mum goes to work in the week everyday mostly. Mum does computer work and paper work really hard. Mum works real good till half five. My mum is a very good mum to me all the time.
Baillie
My brother is the best in the wold because he always plays with me. When I want to go and play cricket at the nets he always comes over and plays with me and my dad. I always get to bat first and my brother bats second and my dad bats third. Im lucky when he lets me bat first because he is better than me. He teaches me how to be a good cricketer. he is in reps for cricket so he has more opportunities. All we do is play cricket.
When he’s happy he has a masive smile on his face. He has blond hair and its short hair. When he gets his 50 he puts up his bat an then he retirs looking victorious.
Lachlan
My sister hannah always has plaits in her hair at school. She has her plaits in her hair going past her shoulders and past her bottom. They look very pretty and tidy. She is very pretty and so beautiful and always nice to me and she has a beautiful smile. When I see her smile it always makes me really happy.
She always whines about being at school. Her whining is thundering. When I get home sometimes I make Hannah cry because I be mean to her like when I threw her skateboard at her. And it sounds like a police siren. But sometimes after school when im happy and she is happy to see me we are nice to each other. When I get home shes purring like a sweety pie. When we play with my lego hannah and me both play together and she uses her manners. I love her so much because she loves me so much. And she always loves mummy and daddy and she loves grandma and Poppy Popcorn. I love her most of all because shes my sister.
Anushka
Phillip Castaing is my dad. His hier is like short springs. I like his smell because it is like 100 rainbows on a sunny day. He wears gray pants and a buttoned shirt which is also tidy. His eyes look sparkly like the sun touching the water.
Dad loves golfs. He tries to play as much as he can. But he can’t play it as much as he wants to because he takes care of me and my brother. He likes to go for a bike ride with us because he likes to spend time with us.
He is the most kind and caring person in the world. He is always there when I need him like when I am sick he stays home with me. He is the most loving, kindest Dad ever. He is spectacular.

My fish is funny. She makes me laugh when she gets stuck in the corner of her tank. My fish is cool but she is weird and the best. My fish is so silly that she gets camouflaged in the tank. I can hardly see her. My fish sleeps in the log we brought her. My fish goes to the corner to get her food when I feed her. She opnes and closes her mouth. My fish looks like a black dog swimming in the sea. My fish is like a black cat. My fish is pretty small. When she swims her tail flicks and it makes the water go bubbly. My fish has round googly eyes. My fish stares at food hungrily. I love my fish because she is funny and she makes me laugh.

My kittens name is Toffeepop isnt it funny. My kitten once chased its tail was funny hahaha. It always loves playing like a ninja, because its a wild kitten. It also loves to go to sleep on me. My kitten loves playing with a purple scarf. and it loves water. My kitten loves the sound of water and we think thats because he or she lived by a river. Toffee Pop even once tried jumping in the washing machine isnt that cool.
My kitten look around with brown and black eyes darting. When its sees a scarf or feet or our hands it attacks!!!!! I love my kitten because it is so cute I cant keep mad at it.
My kitten feels soft and cudly. It sleeps on me once a day. I love when it does that because I love the noise of it purring. I love my kitten because its so soft.
Bo
My dog Pebbles is a black labredor. She looks zero but she is one and a half years old. Everyone thinks she looks zero because actual dogs that are zero are bigger than her. She has brown eyes. She is as fat as an elephant. When she opens her mouth you see her big teeth. I was telling mum we should start brushing her teeth because she really smells. She always has drool running down her chest when we have food because she thinks 18 big blocks of food a day is not much.
When I come home she always jumps and cuddles with me because she misses me. She always eats my socks and shoes. Sometimes she eats my sandwiches.
My dog is as soft as a cloud and a teddy. Her fur gets all tangled up in the stones.
I just want to cuddle with her all day.

My kitten is very soft so when I touch her she feels like a soft blanky. My kitten always sleeps with me and curls up in my bed. She is really soft and warm around me neck.
My kitten is very naughty because she goes into the cupboard and rolls in the soda and gets herself covered in soda and gets dirty. My kitten got her claws out and ripped the sugar and she started to eat it.
My kitten looks like a stripy bowl of fur and plus she is very adorable. My kitten looks like an orange and tiger bowl. My cat looks like the furriest cat in the world. My cat is very puffy and she molts alot. She is very stripy. She is the stripiest molting colourfullest kitten in the world. Especially her fur we really need to give her a good good hair cut.

My dog Gary is brown and white. Garys tail is short because he is a bulldog. Garys two front teeth stick out and Gary has very very sharp teeth. Gary is soft between the ears. Gary is soft as a pillow. Gary is soft as a bed but his fur feels flaky when I pat him because he molts all the time. Gary is cute, funny, hilarious and special. I love Gary so much. Gary is lovely.
Stephanie
My Nana’s and Poppa’s cat Sparky has jet black fur and green eyes like grass. When he is dry he feels like a soft rabbit and when he’s wet he feels like soggy goo. Sometimes Sparky’s not very lucky because Nana and Poppa’s neighbour across the road has a cat his name is Tarshey. They get into bad fights. Because once they had a very very bad fight because Sparky got scratched in the eye. He had to go to the vet and get looked at. Sparky didn’t like to get looked at. Sparky was hissing like a snake and growling and fighting like a dinosaur!
Sparky likes to go to smaller people because he is scared of older people. When Dad goes up to Sparky he just runs to me and starts walking around me purring like a tiger. Sparky likes to stay up mostly all night.
I love Sparky because he is black like the dark and white like snow from Christmas. I love Sparky because he is funny when he runs up to people that I love.
Sparky hisses not very much because he loves everybody in the fantastic fantastic family he’s got.
Tor
My Granma has curly hair like springs it is dark grey like a rain cloud. Her wrinkled face is like a crunched up rubbish ball and her hands are like shes been in the swimming pool for a week. Her feet look like shes stood on a 1,000 stones. She speaks like a creeky door 100 year old.
My Granma lives in a 70 year old house with a stinky backyard with 30 ducks and ducklings 6 chickens and a smelly and old glass house were the animals sleep. They all so have a farm 1 hour away from were they live. The animals at the farm are rabbits, horses, ducklings one cat 25 sheep 20 cows. Theres an orchard there and 200 pieces of wood lots of trees and 100s of fruit like apples and pears and oranges and a load more fruit.
She likes different types of perfumes like stinky smells or nice smells. She mostly likes doing cooking and she cooks cakes the most. She tries to lose weight by walking every day for one and a half hour. She loses one kg in one week. She loves having lots of teas everyday. She likes siting up at the balcony with her sunglasses on while she drinks her tea. She likes eating and growing vegetables her garden is pretty big. She has a lot of eggs to eat and a lot of meat. She watches a lot of TV like four hours a day or three hours.
She is a really nice Granma and buys me a lot of stuff.
Justin
I love my dog he is funny and he hides under the house. When he is there I have to go under and get him. My dog Diesel plays and he plays and he plays. He plays with me at the beach and the park. I throw the rugby ball and he loves his ball. He loves his ball so much that he popped 30 balls. I also love to swim with him at the beach and he sinks me in the water.
He has a black nose. And a long tail that will smack your butt. He looks like hes sad because all Boxers look like that. But i know that hes happy because he plays all the time.
Analise
My mum has beautiful blue eyes and when I look at her and she looks at me her eyes sparkle. Her hair used to be orange hair like me but when she got older it got brown. My mum is 40 years old and my mum loves being 40 because she gets to do more in her age.
My mum cleans my room when I am at Havelock when I come home back from Havelock I mess it up. My Mum cleans other peoples houses. At one house boys tease mum and they are lazy. At tea time mum makes me cheese nachos. Yum! When mum is making nachos my mouth is dripping with excitement. Also mum makes me laugh with her funny jokes.
I love my mum. She is kind to people and wonderful at being the best mum ever and lovely to me and my brother Cameron. She is lovely to all the people that she knows and meet. She is lovely to all my friends and her friends. I also love her because she is funny!
Lucy
My dog Cruze plays like a hyena, chasing his ball everywhere. Everytime dad tries to jump into the river Cruze jumps on him. Dad throws a stone for him and Cruze chases after it. And dad gets a chance to go in the water and he gets a short break from Cruze. Cruze swims in the water like a tiger. He is really fast because he’s a bit of every type of dog especially Huntaway-Boxer. But he is mostly fast on land. When he is playing with another dog Dad can’t get him back so he starts the ute and Cruze is so fast he catches the ute. Cruze also jumps like a great white shark. Dad throws a stone up in the air and Cruze jumps after it and when the stone falls down Cruze is still in the air.
His eyes dart around after cats. He has a white diamond on his chest like a crystal. When he is running it looks like it is moving.
Cruze is as smooth as chocolate. His silky brown chocolate skin is as smooth as a wooly jumper.
Lorelai
Leo my cat is fluffy as a pillow. He likes any kind of food like a human. Leo has a girlfriend called Frisky but he can not have kittens with her. Leo meows while sitting to get out the front or back door. Leo always goes out-side, I think because he goes to heaps of partys and dates with Frisky. He scratches the front door when he wants to get in-side.
Leo has four toy mice, a gray one, a dark green one, a light purple one and a dark purple one. Leo has a soft comfy bed in my bedroom. Leo’s pupils go full when he is scared just like when he was a kitten.
Leo has been crazy and weird since the first of March. Leo scatters down the hall really fast so I try to immobilise him. Even though he is crazy I still love him very much.
Delta
Hunter has tan skin. He has blue eyes like the water of the sea. When he wakes up in the moning his hair is sticking up. He has dark blond hair. He is six years old. He is tall for six years old because he’s nearly taller than me.
Hunter runs like wind when he plays soccer. He looks up to me when he does not know how to do stuff. He is sometimes annoying to me because he jumps on me every time we have finished watching a movie. He got one birthday present early his birthday present was his bedroom got painted blue, on his wall is a big picture of the avengers, he got a new light and a new bed cover. He is the best brother I have ever seen.
Nathan
My pet bird is a 2 year old named Phoenoix. He flies around in the house and in my bed, my sisters bed, mum and dads bed, and the laundry cupboards. Phoenix poops on the couch and when mum is asleep Hayley puts her arm out so the bird can fly to any room. He likes Hayley and Hayley likes him. Then my budgie poops on mums head and goes on dad. He chirps so loud when I try to concentrate like on maths, reading and writing. Phoenix chirps low and high. I messup my reading because Pheonix chirps so loud.
My bird looks green and has no hair and he is flappy and hes in his birdcage outside in the shade hanging on the keyring.
He feels warm and awesome. He feels comfortable like a chair. He feels like a comfortable couch and he feels like a comfy bed.
Jessica
My cat Austin had black and white fur. He look as fluffy as a pillow. I could tell he was 3 years old because he was so small. He did not come far off the gronud. He was a cute as my pillow pet penguin with his adorable face.
I got Austin from my uncle. I named him my self. I called him Austin but I don’t now why.
Austin always loved my legs it was fun. He was my best friend. But he ran away and now I am really sad.
James
My mum has long brown hair. She has brown eyes. She wears a t shirt every day. My mum likes cooking. She cooks vegetables. My mum is funny. She makes jokes and we laugh. My mum has come from the Philipines. She speaks Tagalog and English. She likes TV and the computer. She is happy. She is nice.
Ellie
Spud looks down at the neighbours and woof woof woof!!! And the neighbours go forward and Spud cep barking. Spud eats like a pig once I gav him a bit of pineapple and he had it in a second I couldnt believe it it was so impressive. Spud runs when we walk he pulls me on my scooter. I enjoy it he enjoys it downhill but not uphill because downhill he goes fast.
Spud is brown with a hairy black tail and pointy ears and his ears are blackbrown and his fur sticks up like a mane of a tiger. Spud looks like a drowned rat when he is in the bath. Its so funfy to me and my mum.
Spud he sounds like a baby dinosaur who has just been born. He growls if he doesnt want to be picked up. He is like a motor boat when he wants to get out of the water. He makes the water all wavey like a wave pool.
Spud he is the best dog to have in the whole wide world. I couldnt live without him in my life because he is the best. I love Spud so much. I wish he would never die because I love him so much.
