We saw lots of fantastic masks and there were lots of people there.
We won the best school out of lots of school and so we got a prize!!!!
When we were walking around town there were lots of people watching us.
Everyone was clapping, laughing and cheering.
We were singing and doing the actions to the song Nga Iwi E and we were walking in a circle.
Everyone looked awesome, fantastic and cool.
Our class and R1 and R16 was the forest and our Maori name was Tane Mahuta.

You have a lot of wonderful photos of the masks and everyone looks so happy. It was a great fun thing to do as a school. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI loved watching the mask parade - Nayland Primary looked amazing - it was really hard to tell who was who when you all had your masks on! From Tanya (Jay's Mum)
